Doha: Qatar has condemned the shooting and hostage-taking  incident in the Diplomatic area of Bangladeshi capital Dhaka that led to the killing and wounding of several people, reports Qatar News Agency.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement expressing Qatar’s condemnation of the criminal act, which contradicted all human and ethical values. The statement also reiterated Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. A dramatic, 10-hour hostage crisis that gripped Bangladesh’s diplomatic zone ended yesterday morning with at least 28 dead, including six of the attackers, as commandos raided the restaurant.
