HMC hospitals’ emergency to remain open during Eid; Patients urged to call 16060 for appointments

DOHA: All emergency services in Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) network of hospitals will continue to operate as usual, 24 hours a day, on all days of the week during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.
All Outpatient Department (OPD) clinics will be closed from Tuesday (July 5) to Thursday (July 7) and will reopen on Sunday (July 10).
Hamad General Hospital’s (HGH) Outpatient Department (OPD) clinics and pharmacy will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday. OPD clinics and pharmacy at Women’s Hospital will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday. High risk clinic appointments are scheduled for today and tomorrow, and Sunday to July 12 as scheduled. The hospital’s pharmacy will operate as usual — 24 hours a day — throughout the holidays.
Al Khor Hospital’s OPD clinics and pharmacy will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday and will re-open on Sunday. The Accident and Emergency Department Pharmacy will be open 24 hours a day. All urgent cases, including medication refill, during this period will be dealt by Emergency units.
At Al Wakra Hospital, the Emergency Department including the Adult See and Treat Unit, Paediatric Emergency as well as emergency and inpatient pharmacies will remain open through the break. OPD clinics and pharmacy will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday and reopen on Sunday. The Cuban Hospital’s OPD clinics and pharmacy will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday and re-open on July 10. The Emergency Department including the pharmacy will remain open 24x7 and dispense urgent prescription refills. National Center for Cancer Care and Research’s (NCCCR) clinics will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday and reopen on Sunday. From July 10 to July 12, evening clinics will be closed and all clinics moved to the morning.
The Day Care Unit will be closed on Tuesday and Thursday but radiotherapy will operate as usual.
The Urgent Care Unit will operate 24/7 and will continue to provide assistance and assessment to any patients who visit during the holidays.

Patients urged to call 16060 for appointments

Clinics at the Heart Hospital will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday and re-open on Sunday with a limited schedule. Patients booked for some clinics will be contacted individually to confirm their appointments.

Rumailah Hospital’s OPD clinics will be closed from today to Sunday and reopen on July 11.
Mental Health Services clinics will be closed from Tuesday and reopen on Sunday.
The Hamad Customer Service Centre (Nesma’ak) will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday and will reopen on Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
