Ramadan: Emergency services to work as normal at HMC hospitals; other departments’ operating hours change

Doha: All emergency services under Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will operate round-the-clock during Ramadan.
However, operating hours of other departments of HMC hospitals have been changed.  Hamad General Hospital’s Outpatient Department (OPD) clinics will be open from Sunday to Thursday between 8am and 1pm. The evening clinics will be open from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.
The main OPD pharmacy on the ground floor will open from 8am to 1.30pm and 8.30pm to midnight.
Women’s Hospital OPD’s morning clinics will be open from Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 1pm and evening clinics from Sunday to Wednesday from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Pharmacy will be open as per OPD opening times.
Al Wakra Hospital’s OPD will be open from 8am to 4pm Sunday to Thursday and the Dental Clinic from 8am to 1pm and 8pm to 11pm. The Obstetrics/Gynaecology Clinic will be open between Sunday and Thursday from 8am to 4pm. The main Pharmacy will be open from 8am to 4pm and the Obstetrics/Gynaecology Pharmacy will be open from 8am to 1pm.
OPD clinics at Cuban Hospital will be open between Sunday and Thursday from 8am to 1pm. Pharmacy will be open as per OPD opening times.
Heart Hospital’s OPD Clinics will be open between Sunday and Thursday from 8am to 1pm. But evening clinics will be closed throughout Ramadan. Pharmacy will be open as per OPD opening times. Al Khor Hospital’s OPD and Pharmacy will be open between Sunday and Thursday from 8am to 1pm.
OPD Clinics at Rumailah Hospital will be open between Sunday and Thursday from 8am to 1pm. The pharmacy will open from 8am to 3pm.
National Center for Cancer Care and Research’s OPD Clinics will be open from 8am to 1pm between Sunday and Thursday and evening clinics on Monday between 8pm and 11pm. The pharmacy will be open between Sunday and Thursday from 8am to 2pm and 9am to 2pm on Saturday.
The OPD and pharmacy of Mental Health Services will be open from 8am to 1pm between Sunday and Thursday.
Patients are encouraged to contact the relevant hospital if they have any inquiries regarding the timings of specific services.  The Hamad Customer Service Centre (Nesma’ak) will operate between Sunday and Thursday from 7am to 10pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
Patients requiring any information can call 16060 during these times to inquire about or change their appointments. Nesma’ak will continue to make regular appointments and appointment reminder phone calls during Ramadan. It will also continue to send text message appointment reminders to patients.
