Hong Kong stocks open 0.91% higher

Hong Kong---Hong Kong stocks jumped 0.91 percent in the first few minutes of trade Wednesday as investors brushed off losses on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index added 249.62 points to 27,716.34.
