DOHA: Birla Public School recently held a workshop for school leadership teams belonging to all schools in the Qatar Chapter of the CBSE affiliated schools in the Gulf.
The workshop, ‘Shouldering Higher Responsibilities’ highlighted real life situations to understand sensitive situations faced by school authorities.
The participants enthusiastically simulated delicate and sensitive situations and went through a re-visit of the challenges they meet in every day school life. Lukose K Chacko, the Chairman of Birla Public school, inaugurated the session.
A P Sharma, Principal and Rakesh Thomar, Principal, Cambridge School, Doha, animated the sessions with living examples and incorporating the leadership traits as presented in a famous Hindi movie ‘Lagan’.
Dr Subhash Nair, the Principal of Santiniketan Indian School, explained the importance of the workshop. Gope Shahani, school’s Vice Chairman gave away certificates. George Edison, Vice-Principal, Birla Public school emceed the programme.
