Doha: Qatar yesterday expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of Israeli calls to impose its laws on the Palestinian territories. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the calls jeopardise international efforts to resume peace talks and undermine any chances for peaceful settlement based on the two-state solution. It said these actions worsen tension in the region. The ministry renewed Qatar’s refusal of the Israeli measures which aim at Judaisation of the Palestinian territories. It urged the international community to assume responsibility to stop violations by Israel and oblige it to end occupation and fully withdraw from Palestinian and Arab territories.
