QPost cuts rate for remittances to Bangladesh

DOHA: Qatar Post (QPost) has reduced the rate for money transfer from Qatar to Bangladesh from QR13 to QR9 to mark International Workers Day.
Faleh Al Naemi, Chairman and Managing Director, Qatar Post, said, “We are doing our best to serve the Bangladeshi community in Qatar; we have reduced the rate from QAR13 to QR9, some of our branches are now open every first and last Friday of each month from 4pm to 8pm in Lulu Hypermarket, Mansoorah (Al Meera), Souq Al Ali, Industriasl Area, Mesaieed and Al Khor.
“Customers benefit from receiving and sending money from and to over 2500 Post office in Bangladesh.”
QPost offers International Money Remittance service on the International Financial System platform of Universal Post Union.
At present the service is operational with Morocco Post (Poste Maroc), Tunisia Post (La Poste Tunisienne), Djibouti Post (La Poste de Djibouti) and Bangladesh Post. Qatar Post is striving to reach out into an agreement with many other countries to make remittance easy for the residents of Qatar.
