Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met members of the Board of Trustees of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Centre at the Emiri Diwan yesterday. The members were in Doha for the third meeting of the board and included former Tunisian president Mohammed Moncef Marzouki, former Swiss president Micheline Anne-Marie Calmy-Rey, former Jordan premier Awn Al Khasawneh and former US attorney general Michael Mukasey. The Emir praised their efforts towards establishing the principle of the rule of law and combatting corruption at the regional and international levels and expressed support, wishing them success in their meeting. The members praised Qatar’s efforts towards fighting corruption, establishing the rule of law and consolidating security and justice.
