Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation, Kahramaa is continuously receiving participating requests of Tarsheed’s three competitions until April 6. These competitions are initiatives of National Program for Conservation & Energy Efficiency, Tarsheed.
Kahramaa has announced the fifth edition of conserving buildings competitions under the slogan “Green from the Ground Up”, the building designing competition under the slogan of “Today’s projects are future’s lights” as well as the best initiative competition in the field of renewal energy.
These competitions aim at disseminating awareness on conserving building among all categories of society, advisory offices, and contracting companies. They also aim at raising awareness of the benefits related to implementing proper practices to conserve electricity and water in building plans, encouraging the local market to adopt best building practices, as well as supporting individual and institutional initiatives in the field of renewal energy.
There are many options to participate in competitions such as governmental buildings, residential buildings, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, tourist buildings, and sports facilities. Entries can also be made for building designing competitions for advisory and contracting companies and best initiative of renewal energy.
Winners will be honoured this month.
