Qatar attends Rome forum on terrorism

Rome: Qatar took part in a conference  organised by the International Coalition Against Terrorism in Rome yesterday.
Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani led the Qatari delegation to the event, attended by foreign ministers of 23 countries, including the US,  and a representative of the European Union.
On the sidelines, the Foreign Minister held a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry and Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni. They reviewed latest regional developments, particularly in the occupied territories in light of continuing Israeli escalation, Syria and Libya and coordination of efforts related to counter-terrorism.
He also met British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Philip Hammond and Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs Margot Wallstrom and discussed relations, means of enhancing them and latest regional developments.
The  Foreign Minister met his Norwegian counterpart Borge Brende and discussed relations between both countries and matters of  joint interest. 
He also held separate talks with Gentiloni on relations between the two countries, means of developing them and matters of mutual interest. QNA
