Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce announced the recall of 2011-2012 models of Peugeot 508 vehicles due to a fault in window regulator machine.
The ministry said the recall comes within the framework of its ongoing coordination and follow-up to ascertain the extent of car dealers' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumer rights.
The ministry also stressed that it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat.
