Diplomatic Institute releases fourth annual report

Doha: The Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued its annual report on its activities and achievements for 2015.
The report began with a speech by HE the Director of the Diplomatic Institute Ambassador Dr. Hassan bin Ibrahim Al Muhannadi in which he stressed that 2015 was one filled with achievements for the institute. That includes a number of “ambitious” programmes carried out by the institute. Such programmes included teaching several languages. 
He extended his thanks to the Foreign Minister and H E Assistant Foreign Minister for Services and Follow-Up Affairs Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
Ambassador Al Muhannadi believed that the report represents an opportunity to review and consider the institute work on one hand, and to communicate with those interested in the work of the Institute on the other hand.
The report summed up the activities of the institute in 2015. It organized 85 training courses and trained 50 employees at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 
The Institute also organised course on formulating reports and correspondence, Qatar’s history, environmental issues, and other areas of importance to the diplomat and the employee in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Furthermore, the institute provided training courses for foreign diplomats. QNA
