Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Doha Chapter enjoyed ‘Family Fun Friday’ – a day out with their families at Sealine Beach Resort recently. The full day programme was packed with games and fun activities for the over 200 persons who attended. Children enjoyed games such as Three Legged Race, Hit the Pot, Musical Chairs and Breaking the Wall. Football was organised for the men, with the result being a 1-1 draw. However, the most popular event was Ladies Cricket, which was played with gusto by the ladies, cheered on by their families. Usha Ravi Shankar scored the highest runs while Vidya was the best bowler, taking two wickets in one over.
In the afternoon, participants enjoyed Quad Bike Rides and Banana Boat rides, with quite a few taking an inadvertent spill in the water. The fun day, which was sponsored by Zad Holdings and Teyseer Group, ended with a Tug of War and a Raffle Draw conducted by ICAI Doha Chapter Chairman Hatim Hussain.
