Dimple Rajesh (pictured), IAID Artistic Director, has been honoured with the International Nritya Shiromani Award 2014 for the preservation and popularisation of Indian Classical Dances at the ‘5th Cuttack Mahotsav - International Dance & Music Festival - 2014’ held in Cuttack, India recently. “The Award means a lot to me as it is a recognition of popularising my art in the country outside my hometown,” Dimple stated. “The greatest achievement than performing at prestigious festivals and receiving accolades is to see my students at IAID bloom into budding artists and gain recognition from their craft,” she added.
