Advisory Council's Services and Public Utilities Committee met yesterday during its 45th ordinary session under its Rapporteur Saqr Fahd Al Meraikhi.
The committee continued its examination of a draft law regulating the supply of electricity and water in the presence of Minister of Energy and Industry H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, President of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) Eng Essa bin Hilal Al Kuwari, and Kahramaa's Legal Affairs Director Mubarak Ali Al Sulaiti.
The Minister presented the Ministry's views on the draft law and gave answers to the committee members' questions.
The committee decided to submit its report on the draft law to the Advisory Council.
