DOHA: KPMG in Qatar is holding a performance and risk seminar on Wednesday (January 8) for senior level executives from a wide range of industries ranging from financial institutions, oil and gas, government and education.
Some of the key issues being discussed are: Organisational challenges in emerging markets; governance in driving performance; and the role of board governance and auditors in financial reporting and key international developments The seminar will include a panel discussion comprising of senior Qatari business leaders, and will be facilitated by Rajesh Menon, Partner, Management Consulting, KPMG in Qatar.
Rajesh Menon said: “The fast development of Qatar and the Middle East is offering significant opportunities for organizations due to rapid population growth and rising spending power. However, there are also many performance challenges and risks associated with this growth as companies are being forced to develop quickly but still maintain strong performance.”
