ALGIERS: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic HE Najib Mikati, on the sidelines of the 31st regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level, which was held today at the Centre International de Conferences Alger (Abdullatif Rahal) at the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop and strengthen them, and discussed a number of developments of mutual interest, in addition to exchanging views on the most prominent topics on the summit's agenda, and what would enhance joint Arab action.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation. On the Lebanese side, it was attended by Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Abdallah Bou Habib and a number of members of the accompanying delegation.
