The Public Works Authority announced that it will close the first 400 metres of Arab League Street heading north (to Al Kheesa) from Leabib Intersection. The closure starts tonight and continues until Sunday morning in coordination with the Traffic Police Department. The closure aims to enable Ashghal to lay the final asphalt wearing course and make markings on this part of the road.
During the closure period, road users coming from Arab League Street heading north can use Al Torfa Street and the local roads. Those coming from Al Torfa Street heading north, can use local roads to reach the service road parallel to Arab League Street, which will remain open to traffic.
