DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that four lanes will be closed on Al Shamal Road in the direction towards the north.
Traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the road which will be divided to two lanes in each direction from August 5, 2015 for a period of four months.
Ashghal is implementing this diversion to complete construction works of the bridge at Lehwaila Interchange (Interchange 66).
The public works authority apologized for any inconvenience, and urges all road users to abide by speed limit, which was reduced to 60 km/h near the diversion to ensure their safety.
