Doha: Quality Group International has opened its new retail outlet, ‘New Quality Hypermarket’, in Al Rayyan.
Shamsudheen Olakara, Chairman, Quality Group International; and Sheikh Jassim Thamir Issa Thamir Al Thani, Chairman, New Quality Hypermarket, inaugurated the hypermarket.
Galma Muke Boru, Ambassador of Kenya to Qatar; Anissa Lahreche, Commercial Specialist of US Commercial Service; Jhon Danilo G Jiao. Jr., Cultural Attache at the Philippine Embassy; Saleh Murad, CEO, Al Ahli Bank; Khalid A Rahman Al Kooheji, Manager, Khaleeji Commercial Bank; Neeraj Vohra, CEO, UNIKAI-UAE; Mohammed Hamad Mubarack Al Khaleefa, Rashid Hamad Al Athba, a large number of officials, dignitaries and a large crowd were present.
The new hypermarket is designed across three floors with a total area of 85,000sqft. The ground floor features shops and kiosks, including a pharmacy, ATM counters of leading banks, a spacious supermarket for food, fresh food and other grocery items.
The first floor includes nonfood, health and beauty items, household and home furnishing, gifts, stationery and sports items.
Shops for mobile phones, watches and fashion jewellery are part of a department store.
The second floor is designed for electric, electronic, IT and technology products, garments, fashion accessories, footwear and luggage from leading brands around the world. Promotions and price discounts were announced for the first two days of the inauguration, especially for electronics, food and non-food sections.
The New Quality Hypermarket is the seventh outlet of Quality Group International in Qatar, which plans to open one more outlet Al Khor by this year-end.The Peninsula
