Doha: As Ramadan begins today, Aspetar gave tips on how to stay hydrated during the holy month.
In a tweet, it said to properly stay hydrated. Among are the tips: Drink regularly between Iftar (evening meal for breaking the fast and Suhoor (meal consumed early in the morning before fasting); eat fruits and vegetables that are rich in water including cucumber, watermelon, and orange.
The orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital also said to ensure a good hydration plan; do not focus your water drinking at one time only – spread your drinking habit during non-fasting hours.
