Doha, Qatar: Hamad International Airport, HIA, has issued a recent update stating that flight operations remain suspended and will resume once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace.
This was announced in a post by HIA on X this morning, March 2, 2026.
"The safety of our passengers and employees is our top priority. Passengers are advised not to proceed to the airport," HIA said in a statement.
HIA also encouraged passengers to check with their respective airlines and its official channels for latest up to date advice.
