Manama: Bahrain National Communication Center announced that the Bahrain Defense Force's missile and air defense systems successfully intercepted a new wave of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the total number of hostile attacks reaching 70 missiles and 59 drones.

The Center emphasized that targeting civilian infrastructure and private property with ballistic missiles and drones constitutes a grave violation of Bahrain's sovereignty and a clear breach of international laws and norms, affirming the Kingdom's legal right to respond and take measures to preserve its sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The Center stated that the relevant authorities immediately handled the limited amount of debris resulting from the attacks at some locations, in accordance with established protocols.

It noted that monitoring and tracking operations continue within an integrated system at the highest levels of readiness, efficiency, and vigilance.
