Tunis: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani participated in the opening of the 40th session of Arab Interior Ministers Council in Tunis, Tunisia, yesterday.
Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Excellency also attended the opening.
Earlier yesterday, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, along with a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies Arab Interior Ministers, met with President of Tunisia H E Kais Saied at the Presidential Palace of Carthage in Tunis.
On the sidelines of the session, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior met with a number of Interior Ministers of Arab countries.
His Excellency met with Interior Minister of Tunisia H E Taoufik Charfeddine; Minister of Interior and Municipalities of Lebanon H E Bassam Mawlawi; Interior Minister of the Republic of Yemen H E Ibrahim Haidan; Minister of Interior and Federal Affairs of Somalia H E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi and Minister of Interior of Iraq H E Abdul Amir Al Shammari. During the meetings, they discussed cooperation and relations between Qatar and their countries, and ways to enhance and develop these relations, especially in the security fields.
