Jenin: Israeli soldiers Thursday fired tear gas canisters at Palestinians during clashes in the village of Zaboba to the west of Jenin, said local sources.
A number of Palestinians suffocated from tear gas inhalation, the sources told (WAFA) News Agency.
The clashes broke out after an army unit raided the village in the predawn hours.
Soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas canisters and stun grenades toward residents, causing several suffocation cases. No arrests were reported.
