Tunis: President of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi met with Prime Minister and Interior Minister of Qatar H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani at the Presidential Palace.
Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the President of Tunisia.
Prime Minister also conveyed the wishes of Emir for further progress and prosperity of the Tunisian people.
For his part, Essebsi expressed his regards to the Emir and his hope for further development for the State of Qatar.
They discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them in all fields.
They also discussed regional and international issues of joint interest.
Prime Minister also met with Sheikh Rashid Al Ghannushi, leader of the Islamic Annahda Party, in Al Nahli in Tunisia.
They discussed a number of issues of common concern. QNA
