A Qatar Charity (QC) delegation organised a visit to Al Noor Institute for the Blind. The delegation was briefed on the outstanding educational services provided by the Institute staff who expressed their profound thanks to QC for distributing Mushaf Basirah, a Holy Quran Book that works according to the writing system "Braille", enabling the blind to study and listen to the Holy Quran.
Dr Noura Abdullah Al Kubaisi, Director of Al Noor Institute for the Blind, said that the visit of the QC delegation left a good impact on the professors and students of Al Noor Institute, noting that they are looking forward to a greater cooperation with QC.
Al Kubaisi added that QC distributed more than 50 copies of "Mushaf Basirah” to the Institute’s students who considered it a great gift and will help them to enjoy reading the Holy Quran.
Al Kubaisi pointed out that the Institute will seek to coordinate with Qatar Charity to print copies of the Holy Quran books produced by braille system to be distributed to blind people inside and outside Qatar, confirming that Qatar Charity is one of the most important humanitarian institutions worldwide.
Al Kubaisi concluded her speech by thanking QC represented by the Director of Public Relations, thanking QC for their charity act.
Ali Algharib, PR Director of QC, said that QC is proud to collaborate with Al Noor Institute for the Blind, which provides valuable services for blind people.
Algharib added that QC visit to the Institute aims at briefing them on the Institute’s activities and discussing ways of cooperation for serving the blind in the future, emphasising that QC presented more than 50 copies of “Mushaf Basirah” in braille system during the visit.
The idea of "Mushaf Basirah” is based on providing blind people with braille books that help them listen to the verses of the Hily Quran, choose a specific reciter and listen to the interpretation of the verses.
QC in collaboration with a Malaysian company produced Mushaf Basirah for blind people to help them listen to the Holy Quran easily.
