• Some people demanded that the health authorities provide ambulance services at specific points on highways to intervene immediately in case of accidents, instead of people and victims waiting for a long time until they come from Doha or other health centres.
• There was talk about the busting of a fake company by municipal officials. The company had been buying unsold and waste meat from meat shops and slaughterhouses at low prices and packaging them for sale as mutton to stores in neighbourhoods.
• Residents of some areas complained about tents in front of their homes and said youngsters were creating noise and performing driving stunts throughout the night until early morning.
• Some people demanded that the Traffic Department install radars and surveillance cameras on the Salwa road to control speeding by reckless motorists. They said trucks also indulge in racing on the road, posing threat to smaller vehicles.
• Several parents demanded that the Supreme Education Council increase student buses and replace the bigger ones with smaller buses to avoid delays, particularly in the afternoon as students are forced to spend more than two hours on their way home.
• There was a suggestion by some citizens that some service ministries should work in two shifts to avoid rush in the morning. They said a two-shift system can also prevent delays in the morning.
