Algiers: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday met with his brother HE President of Iraq Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid, in Algiers, on the sidelines of the 31st regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level, which was held at the Centre International de Conferences Alger (Abdullatif Rahal) in Algeria.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and discussed a number of developments of mutual interest, foremost of which is strengthening joint Arab action, in addition to exchanging views on the most prominent topics on the summit's agenda.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Chief of the Amiri Diwan H E Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Minister of Finance H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, and a number of members of the official delegation.
On the Iraqi side, it was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein, and a number of ranking officials accompanying the president.
