DOHA: The American Chamber of Commerce in Qatar (AmCham Qatar) yesterday organised a lecture by Dave Brooke, General Manager of Dell Middle East on ‘IT Security- Impact on Business’. He elaborated on the impact of growing global IT security risks on doing business in Qatar and the region.
Briefing the members of AmCham Qatar and regional business leaders on the latest risks facing organisations in the region, Brooke described how certain aspects of any IT infrastructure can be updated or refreshed to protect corporate data from cyber-crime and other internal threats such as the loss of devices, securing and empowering remote workers and protecting against human error. 
Brooke also offered his top tips to assist organisations to reduce the risk of cyber-attacks.
