Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani
He was appointed as Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior on June 26, 2013. He was Minister of State for Interior Affairs and member of Council of Ministers from February 15, 2005. Before taking up that position, he was the commander for the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya). He started his career as an officer of patrols at Rescue Police Section in 1985.
Holds a Bachelor Degree in Police Sciences from the Durham Military College, UK and a Licence Degree in Law from the Arab University of Beirut.
