Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud
He was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs in September 2011. He is also Member of the Higher Committee for Development Planning since November 2011. He started his career as Third Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1976. He served as Ambassador of Qatar to USA from 1987-1989. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Cairo University and MSC Economics from Central Michigan University, USA.
