Qatar slams Somali CID HQ blasts

Doha: Qatar has expressed strong condemnation of two explosions which targeted the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters in Mogadishu and left several casualties.
In a statement yesterday, the Foreign Ministry said Qatar condemns this criminal act which contradicts human values and principles. It affirmed solidarity with the government and people of Somalia, and its support to all efforts towards maintaining stability and security in the country. The statement stressed Qatar’s firm position that rejects violence in all its forms and manifestations and expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Somalia, reports QNA
