Qatar’s population declines 6% in July

DOHA: Qatar’s population saw a decline of 6 percent month-on-month in July. The country’s population was over 2.3 million by July-end, declining by 6 percent month-on-month from June 2016.
The figures were released by Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics today.
In a monthly statistics report issued for July, the ministry put the population for the month at 2,326,000 people.

According to the data realised earlier populartion has declined drastically compared to February 2016, which recorded over 2.54 million.
The population in June was 2,477,113, which was 4.3 percent less than May numbers.
The July 2016 figures represent an increase of 10 percent growth compared to July 2015.
