Doha: Burger King Qatar achieved last year the highest annual home delivery sales growth and was the top restaurant in brand quality, service and cleanliness standards among all Burger King franchises in the GCC.
The results are exceptional considering that the brand operates in 10 countries in the region, with over 500 restaurants, of which 23 are in Qatar, with plans to open the 25th this year. Premier Food Service, part of Al Jassim Group, and the brand franchise partner in Qatar, was recognised for the performance of Burger King Qatar at an award ceremony in Egypt. Franchise partners from all over the region and top corporate officials from Burger King were present.
Camille Aoun, General Manager; Adnan Zahra, Operations Manager; and Mohamed Sheta, Marketing Manager, Premier Food Services, accepted the award on behalf of Al Jassim Group. Aoun said, “Our team will continue to reach new heights of professional excellence and achievements due to hard work each of them puts every day.” Burger King has also celebrated its 20th anniversary in Qatar recently. US Ambassador Dana Shell Smith and senior officials from Premier Food Services attended a special ceremony at Burger King Qatar’s flagship Suhaim Bin Hamad restaurant branch.
