Indian film festival Cinefest 2013, organised by Pravasi, will be held at Qatar National Theatre from June 2 to 6. Cinefest 2013 will show five movies in various Indian languages.
The movies to be screened are Malayalam film Kaliyachan, Marathi film Deool, Hindi film Gangoobai, Kannada film Kurmavatara and Byari film Byari.
The festival will be inaugurated by the Ambassador of India, Sanjiv Arora, and the chief guest at the opening will be director Farooq Abdul Rahman.
A felicitation speech will be given by Sreenivasan Santhanam, retired deputy director, Directorate of Film Festivals, India.
The opening ceremony will be held at the venue at 7.15 pm and the show will start at 7.30pm.
