Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call today from HE Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh President expressed his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar following the unprovoked Iranian aggression. His Highness the Amir, in turn, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the President for his brotherly sentiments towards the State of Qatar.
During the call, they discussed the latest security developments in the region and their repercussions on regional and international peace and stability. Both sides emphasized the importance of de-escalation and opening avenues for dialogue to safeguard the region's security.
