DOHA: The rainy season in Qatar and other parts of the Arabian Peninsula, traditionally called Al Wasmi will begin on October 16 and continue for 52 days, the Meteorology Department said yesterday.
After the Al Wasmi period, the country will come under the influence of the Siberian low leading to a significant fall in temperature, marking the winter season in Qatar. The country will witness unstable weather conditions during this period, said the department.
